Dr. Jessie LaLonde, OD
Dr. Jessie LaLonde earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude after attending Grand Valley State University for her undergraduate studies. After graduation, Dr. LaLonde completed a residency at the VA Wyoming Health Care Center in Wyoming, MI where she enjoyed working with our nation’s veterans. She specialized in ocular disease and gained valuable experience managing all types of eye conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetes.
Dr. LaLonde is excited to welcome patients of all ages and looks forward to using her residency skills to provide comprehensive eye exams, management of ocular disease including diabetic exams, contact lens fits, pre- and post-operative care, and pediatric exams. She is actively involved and a member of the Michigan Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
She is originally from Rogers City, which is a small town in northeastern Michigan. She is now happy to call western Michigan home and enjoys all the area has to offer. She enjoys spending her free time doing anything active including marathon training, biking, and spending time at the beautiful lakeshore, as well as exploring the greater Grand Rapids area with friends and family.
